~*Ok so now i have a little more time.....
All of you probably know me from either work or high school so you know a good chunk of my life. To catch up those of you that don't know me very well... My name is Kayla Morris (was McCoy in high school) I am married to Jacob Morris and we have 1 daughter whos name is Madelaine Elizabeth Morris. She will turn 1 y/o on July 7th (but we arent celebrating until the 11th). My husband and i met at teh Ceremonial Guard which i will end up making a whole blog dedicated just to telling about the Ceremonial Guard (for those of you who have No clue what that is or a very vague clue) I am in the U.S. Navy and currently stationed in Norfolk Virginia on NOB. This July will make 3 years that i have been in. I am half way to becoming an IS which is an Intelligent Specialist. I am waiting to go back to 'C' school. Which those of you who are or ever been in the military knows that that can be a very long process as the military doesn't like doing things in a very fast and timely matter. My husband is also in the navy. He is stationed on Dam Neck at CSD (custumer service department) He is currently in the process of getting out though. One day we are going to move to Montana and own a ranch. I can not wait untill i am the boss along side my husband. My life so far is very heck-tick (sp) in just the past week so much has happend i don't even know where to start! I guess I can start by telling you about what i am currently doing; which is packing......
First off we are moving from Virginia Beach to Norfolk!!!! We are going from a 2 bed apartment to a 5 bed 2 bath house!! I am so excited for the space that we are going to have! I am however not excited about all this packing we have to do! Most of the cloths are pack and otehr misc. things. We are about half way done and it is Wednessday already!! (we are moving on Saturday!) So we have ALONG way to go.........
On a better not Madelaine is going to be 1 year old in a little over a moth so the extra space will be nice for her party! She finally cut her first tooth, although that is not a great time.... She had a slight fever and was super crabby for a week straight \. It was a nightmare. Now she is doing better because it finally cut through the gum. I was so excited i almost cried when i felt it. Jacob has been telling me that she wasn't going to get any teeth so i have been super worried about it! It makes me sad that my little girl is growing up. I wish so much that she would be 2 months old again and all she would do is lay in my arms! Now i am lucck to get her to stay in my arms while i am holding her to the car to go bye bye. She is become such an independent little girl. It is so funny watching her try to walk she is getting better but not quiet on her 2 feet yet. She sure does test her balance though. She is such a good baby and i am so luck to be able to say that.*~
